Price Gouging

Price Gouging During State of Emergency

For Price Gouging, the Governor of New Jersey would have to declared a State of Emergency and then the price could not rise over 10 percent higher that the price the merchandise was sold during the normal course of business prior to the State of Emergency.

If a business is charging too much for products or services, you have the freedom to shop elsewhere.  Price out items.  Prices should be posted or have sales tag in most cases.
